🏊🏼‍♂️… 7 am, warm sunrise, soft sand, rough surf. I was standing at the shoreline watching jet skis hop through the waves when the event photographer asked me to smile here. This is the swim I told myself I was afraid of. I stand corrected and ready for the next challenge. 🇺🇸 A friend we met at Cartagena 70.3 told us about an epic swim race from the Statue of Liberty to The Freedom Tower in NYC this September. It’s a 2.2 mile swim in the Hudson River to honor those who lost their lives or served on 9/11.
